2. It must represent YOU as a person/survivor contestant.
3. It has to be approximately 150x 150 size

All About MEme Monday: As Seen on TV

Over at Supah's Today its all about the informercials! We're supposed to list our favorite/worst "As Seen on TV" products - I'll be perfectly honest, if I can't buy it at the store - I'm not getting it! I've never bought anything off the TV! Most of the time I'll head over to Bed, Bath & Beyond to see if they have it, if not, I just forget about it! But I did however go on the website and these are some awesome products:

These are a huge scam people! They turn brown anytime a little moisture hits them, they do not actually pull any toxins *or cellulite* from your body! What a waste of money! And they just look icky - you got a poop foot!

Sheer genius with whoever invented this spray paint! Let's provide a quick fix to those men who are self conscience and will try ANYTHING to get a date. This is just out there! What do you do when its raining outside, like right now? Your hair would "melt" off your shoulders and onto your blazer! Not the best idea! :)

It's bad enough I have 2 boys in the house -the flagulance is not skim around here! But to add now, a piggy bank that you should quarters into it's but with a Rrriiiiiiipppppppp sound as a reward - HA! No thank you! However, the boys would think it was HILARIOUS!

These I actually bought, from Walgreens for $10 - they work alright, but my hair is thin & I could fluff my hair all day long, but I could still see the bumpit through my hair - so I've never actually worn them! They lay untouched in my bathroom cabinet!

I really don't order anything off the TV! My neighbor on the other hand has a problem...everyday she's getting at least 2-4 boxes from FedEx and has for the past 7 years her husband said! They don't even park their cars in the garage anymore because of all the UNOPENED boxes! I wonder what all she has in there - we could have like a "As Seen on TV" warehouse blowout one weeked right out of her garage! I bet she could make a couple bucks!

Now get 'yer fanny on ova to Supah's place & join in on the fun!

Peace, Love, & you ROCK my socks!! <3 <3

Supah Survivor Challange #1

If you guys didn't know already, I am apart of a super fun Contest right now over on Supah's Kick Ace blog! It's the blog worlds very own Survivor! Our 1st challange was to create a Valentine for our co-host Harv Spitenstein because he was feeling a little under the weather this Valentine's Day!

Here is my creativity at its finest (Please keep in mind that I put this together in about 2 hours with a HANGOVER - Boy did Mardi Gra s do damage on me!) So do not judge...to hard! K, Thanks! <3

PS. It has a Pirate Theme - I love anything pirates so I wanted to show that with this Valentine!

This is the front of the Valentine - It says "Surrender Ye Heart"

Here is the inside of the card - it has a nice poem *see below* and Harv in a very HAWT Pirates costume! He looks pretty sexy in a pirates Hat...(Is that a sword in your pocket or are you just excited to see me?! )

Here's the Poem inside:
Oh, my little puppet and thee stuffed leg,
when I see you my mind boils like an egg.
I think of thee as the heavy wind blows,
My sword wishes t'were an ebbulient rose.
When I look at you I see my heart's mirror,
My trusty parrot jumps when your near.
Thou art the treasure and I am the chest,
and as you know, forever we're blessed.
Bottles of rum for the ladies in white
We'll have some fun on this wonderous night.
I got me wench and I got me rum,
lets pull up that dress and have some fun!

Love, Manic Mommy Meg

Now - Let's go Heroes! We can NOT go to Blogger's Council - not this week! Let's show the Villians that the good guys will finish FIRST! Good luck everyone & I'm really excited to see everyone's Valentines Day Cards!

The Skew - Romance

Today's Episode of "The Skew"'s topic is ROMANCE...

First I just want to sum my relationship up with one word: DYSFUNCTIONAL

Chris & I have a very ODD relationship - but we have fun. Our friends often wonder how we have stayed together for so long because of how we act around each other or the things that we say to one another. Here's an example:

Chris: "Hey Butt-Nugget, how was your day today"
Me: "It was oka..."
Chris: (interupting) "Yep, I dont care"
Me: "You're an ass"
Chris: "Yep - but you love me"
Me: "If love really means HATE then yes"
Chris: "Awwe I hate you too"
Me: *Smile*
Chris: *Smile*
*Smooooch*

There's usually some other type of annoyance going on while we're in each others presence - but this is how our relationship works. I know he is MADLY In love with me and vice versa - as no one else would put up with either of our shit - and we have our moments where we are all lovey dovey and sick & sappy - but 99% of the time we are calling each other names (we keep it PG when Mister Monster is around) but we have fun doing it and I wouldnt have it any other way - it's always been this way with us.

When we started dating 3 years ago - he actually came up to me and started hitting on me - College bar style *Do you have a mirror in your pocket? Because I can see me in your pants* - and I just told him to "Fuck Off". He started laughing and called me a "Bitch" and it just went on from there. Love at first sight you could say - not your average Happily Ever After. I even stood him up THREE times (just to test him) and he still kept asking for a date - so finally I gave into him.

3 years later...we're still together!

So now onto my thoughts on Romance - the little things are what counts the most for me. When he asks me if it's ok if he goes out for a beer and watch the game with his guys. When I come home (like yesterday - Chief your going to be JEALOUS) and my entire kitchen was clean - including dishes, cabinets scrubbed, fridge cleaned out, swept & MOPPED - even all the laundry had been sorted and he was starting the rounds to get it done. When he stops me dead in my tracks and wraps his arms around me - whispers how much he loves me - then yanks on my hair. When I get that random text message that says "Hey beautiful - you have a great day - I miss you and I looooove you".

Romance does not have to be flowers & candy & expensive dinners & jewelry & love poems & sappy hallmark cards - these things are great...one or twice a year - for our anniversary and my birthday - but if you do this crap all year long it takes the "specialness" out of the gesture.

Romance is helping me out when I need it the most, Telling me I'm beautiful even though I cant see it, Hugging me when I'm having a bad day then making me laugh so I can forget what's got me down. Romance is letting me take a looong bubble bath while you help Mister Monster with his homework.

Chris and I are not the picture perfect couple - but we put the "FUN" in dysFUNctional!

::Giveaway:: & Review Progresso Soups

At the beginning of 2010 we started a new year, and I started a journey for a new me. One of the area's that I wanted to focus on was my weight. I started eating healthier and watching my portions but I was running out of idea's as I am not a cook....at all. You can only eat so much celery until you start wanting something with some flavor!

When I was contacted by Progresso Soups I immediatly said "YES" to the review! I kept seeing their cans on the shelf and the new commercials but I had not purchased any yet.

A few day's later I recieved my box in the mail - which had 15 different cans of soup in it. I was very excited to open the box and start looking at all the new varieties! I instantly walked over to my cabinet, pulled out a bowl, and warmed up the Light Chicken & Herb Dumplings soup - I was pleasantly surprised! The soup was so good - and it had really great ingredients. Not like the condensed soups - this soup was filling & really tasty.

With hearty new ingredients including vegetables, pasta, beans and rice and flavor packed with peppers, carrots, and tomatoes. Progresso's new line of Soups are a great & healthy alternative to the sodium & fat filled lunch/dinner options on the market today.  They now offer 100 Calories or less, Low Sodium, Full Serving of Vegetables, and Fiber Source soups - which gives anyone wanting to get healthy or watch their weight perfect options for filling meals!

In honor of the Progresso Light premier, Progresso Soups has launched "Souper You Debut" contest.

How do you stay confident?

Ladies, I am facing some demons right now. Some demons within myself that I am having a tough time kicking them out.

2 years ago I was the most confident person you would meet - very arrogant - I knew I was pretty and I knew I could have any thing I wanted without working super hard to get it.

Over the past couple of months all my confidence has disappeared - right out the window - bye bye confidence. I used to be so comfortable in my skin. I would slap on that bikini and flaunt what the good Lord blessed me with. (Stretch marks and all).

Now I just shrivel at the thought of even wearing shorts because I feel like my thighs are to big or my muffin top is to fluffy today and my hair just looks like I woke up (even after working on it for 2 hours). I find myself wearing more Tshirts and baggier pants instead of cute tops and skinny legs. I wear more tennis shoes than I do heels. I just don't feel pretty.

I don't know what happened - I used to have more confidence than I knew what to do with. My sales numbers at work were great now I struggle every month to come close to my goals. I constantly find myself looking in the mirror rather than just assuming I looked good.

If I see a great looking girl on my boyfriends facebook friends list I instantly become jealous where before I used to have the "F*** him" attitude and the "there are tons of guys in line to date me" response. But now - I grow with anger and I yell at him all because of my insecurities.

How do you ladies handle this? Or do you handle it? Are you in the same boat as me? I am having a super hard time right now and I am looking for all opinions and advice. I want to get the old Meg back - but I'm starting to think she's to far gone to bring home.

Meme Monday: Busted Bia

I can not & will not try to go against Supah Mommy's post today - it was worse than anything I have ever encountered with my car! (You poor blizzard stranded Yeti, you!!)

However I know that I can put the Top 5 times I have been pulled over so here they go: (There's only 3 - I've been a good lil driver.....HA....lack there of is more like it).

1.When I was 16, yep fresh out of driving school, I thought it would be a friggin great idea to drink Strawberry Boone's with my girlfriends and then attempt to drive 8 miles home. I ended up getting pulled over - by my cheerleading coach's HUSBAND! He knew me really well, as I was best friends with his son & daughter. I was mortified, I just knew this was the end of my life as I knew it. But, by the grace of god, He did not give me a ticket or haul me off to jail - he told me this was my 1 and ONLY "Get outta Jail free card" and packed me in his patrol car and drove me home. I never did that again! He scared the shit outta me, making me watch movies on his laptop the entire ride home about drunk drivers and watching their accidents. He let me off with a warning.

2. I got pulled over when I was 17 for driving to close one night. The old man was doing 12 in a friggin 40! I was pissed! I had places to go & people to see and this old man just wasn't moving fast enough for me. (I'm still a very impatient driver) I was getting ready to pass the old dude when I saw flashing Red & Blug lights in my review. "Shit - Damnit - Frikkity Frick" I pulled over and the officer was so kind as to let me know that I was to close to the car in front of me and that was considered tailgating (Thank's Asshole - I'm young, not a re-tard). But I batted my pretty eyes at him and told him that I was sorry and it would never happen again. He let me off with just a warning.

3. When I was 19 - I got pulled over for not having a license plate on the front of my car. In my defense, I didn't know you HAD to have a plate on the front, but I kept it in my trunk just to be on the safe side. So I told the office that I had it. He got it out for me and even screwed it on for me! Just let me off with just a warning.

And to this day - I have not been pulled over since I was 19 - even though I am def guilty of speeding (those little signs don't mean much to me). And when I was pulled over - I simply got warnings. So there is nothing on my record! Clean as a whistle! Innocent as a newborn! Fit as a Fiddle!

So what have you been busted for?? Head on over to Supah Mommy's and link up for this MAD AWESOME Monday Meme! Have a great day ya'll!
