Our Trip to Florida

As fun as family vacations are, I am so happy to be at home! There is nothing better than sleeping in your own bed, eating your own food, and not worrying about stepping on anyone elses toes! Florida this year was a blast - for both the adults & the kids!

We went to Disney World on Sunday - lots of fun, rained a bit mid day & then made it horribly sticky & humid but none-the-less, a good time!
Then on Monday we went to the beach, only stayed for about 2hrs but seeing Jay's reaction the ocean was one that I will remember forever, and the first thing he said "Oh Yuck, this tastes like salty crap, mom!"
Tuesday - Super fun day at Universal Studios *which was also my favorite day!!!* where Jay & I got to meet Spongebob Square Pants & got to ride a ton of rides - we also bought some Cotton Candy....YUMM!!
Wednesday - Went Outlet shopping - oh ya! Bought a super cute new Coach purse & matching Wallet. Also bought Chris a Coach wallet (Men's of course) and only spent $246 *LOVE great deals!!*
That night us adults went out to a Dinner Mystery thing - was so much fun! I want to do one again - I just loved it!!!
Thursday - Islands of Adventure - again, another super fun day, but my idiot self left the digital camera battery charging at the house, so I had to buy a $20 disposable camera - so pics soon to come.
Friday - More shopping, didn't buy as much - but still had fun. Oh & at at Hooters! *Soooo good!!*
Saturday - Drove 18 hours home!

What a trip! Had a ton of fun! Now onto Pictures! :)

Last night was a huge milestone in Mister Monster *And mines* life! He graduated Preschool! The ceremony was absolutly adorable, they even marched in to the room with the Graduation Procession! I will admit right here, right now, I bawled like a baby! It's all starting to sink in that my little man is longer a baby!

It was only yesterday....

Seems like last night he graduated Pre-K, this weekend he starts Kindergarten and Next weekend he goes off to college! Time sure does fly. I'm an emotional wreck just thinking about here!

But without further adieu...here's some pictures from last night!

Friend Makin' Monday - Favorite Pictures

I'ts another Makin' Friends Monday over at {AE Filkins}, this week we are posting some of our favorite pictures from this past year.  Below are some of my top moments from 2009 with my 2 favorite boys! Please enjoy, comment, and I'll show some love back on your blog! :)

This picture is adorable - This is when we were moving into our new home - Daddy wrapped Mister Monster in a blanket and put him in a box! Mister Monster just layed there - giggling! (Goof Balls!)

This picture was taken on a trip to the Zoo - we got Mister Monster's face painted, and he chose to get a snake! When we walked into one of the gift shops he found this toy snake, wrapped it around himself, then started saying "Im the Ssssssnake Man! Ssssssss" It was soooo cute! :)

Mister Monster reading "Where the Wild Things Are" with his classroom pet, Brownie, a stuffed puppy! He was so excited that it was his turn to bring Brownie home!!

This one cracks me up! We were at the Party store getting things for his Pirate Birthday Party and he found these glasses and insisted that he put them on for a photo op. I swear...it was HIS idea....

Christmas morning! Still in Jammies and opening gifts! He got way to may toys this year!

This is my favorite from Christmas - This is Daddy & Mister Monster playing with their new toys! They played with that castle for 30 mins! That's pretty good for a 5yo & 20-something boy! :)

So those are my pictures from 2009 - Thank you for stopping by! And I Hope to see you again! Have a great day!

Things I love Thursday - Smores

Things I love Thursday - Smores!

There is nothing are very few things better than smore's in my opinion. The warm, lightly brown toasted marshmallow smooshing between two sweet graham crackers and a melted milk chocolate square - heaven! Smore's are truly one of my favorite campside snacks - a true favorite childhood past time. I remember camping with the family and having a campfire next to the lake and just toasting marshmallows and enjoying the sweet (and oh so NOT healthy) snack and talking about whatever came to mind. I have a lot of great memories with smores - I even had my first kiss around a campfire cookin' smores. What's your favorite campsite snack?

Here's some pics over the summer of us making smore's at our hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida:

Hotel Smore's Kit

Marshmallows, Grahams, and Chocolate! & of course
the firepit for roasting!

Chirs with the toasting rods!

A little more burnt than I like - but was still yummy!

Enjoying our Smore's!

Thank you for stopping by my Blog & if you are new I would like to invite you to subscribe! I would love to see you come back! Please leave some comment love and I will make sure to do the same for you! If you would like to join the "Things I love Thursday" please link up at The Diaper Diaries !
